I am the girl who loves to be with the people I care about, but I am also the girl who will stay home on a Friday night cuddling my kitten and watching Gilmore Girls because I need to recharge.
My home away from home is the most wonderful classical Christian school in the southern United States. I have the privilege of using the gifts God has given me to help lead students and teachers in becoming the people God has called them to be. (I am also privileged to laugh a LOT with co-workers I adore!)
Being healthy is very important to me, and while I have eaten healthily for several years, I completed the Whole30 program in November of 2016, and now I'm eating 100% Paleo. I'm learning about the relationship we have with food and how to eat for fuel rather than emotional security.
My favorite book is a tie between Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers and Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. They are both perfect in their own way. My favorite colors are plum, gray, and white. My favorite TV show is Gilmore Girls. And my favorite holiday is Christmas.
